Big Red finish Regular Season with a Win

Varsity basketball pieced together a 58-44 win over the TN Heat this evening in the final regular season game.  After a slow start, the defensive intensity picked up along with the offense.  A strong 3rd quarter gave the group the separation it needed to get the win.  Scoring tonight:  O'Neal (15), Weatherford (15), Chapman (12), Die' (7), Pughsley (3), Rzasnicki (2), Taft (2), Switzer (2).  The group finishes the regular season at 21-5 and 9-3 in the region.  We played one team all year with a losing record, so a very competitive schedule.  The team has earned some rest.  We will play again in the Region Tournament semifinals a week from Friday at Ensworth.  Time and opponent TBD.  Roll Red!
