Morning Bus Transportation


General Information:
Montgomery Bell Academy will be providing bus transportation with two morning shuttle routes as a service and convenience for MBA, St. Cecilia, Overbrook, Akiva, and Harpeth Hall families who live in Davidson County and Williamson County. The buses will run each morning that MBA has school, including exam weeks at the end of each semester. In the event of inclement weather that would prevent safe bus transportation, families will be notified by text message alert system and on the MBA website. On Fridays and times that MBA has a scheduled 10:00am start time, the buses will continue to run at the regular times.

  • LaVergne/Antioch/Brentwood Route
  • Goodlettsville/East Nashville and Shuttle to Akiva

  • Semester Payment

    Semester Payment: $450 per semester. This lowest cost option will be billed on a semester basis soon after the opening of school and in mid-January.
         
    Semester Cost for Akiva Shuttle: If your child would like to ride the Akiva shuttle only, the cost will be $300 per semester. The shuttle departs MBA at 7:15am each day. This option will be billed on a semester basis soon after the opening of school and in mid-January. Please drop student off at the parking circle off of S. Wilson Blvd. at MBA, beside the parking garage.

  • Individual Rides

    Individual Rides: Provided that there is space on the bus, individuals may ride for a cost of $10 per day. The riders will check their name on a ride sheet when they board the bus, and the family will be billed at the end of each month.   • Important Bus Service Dates

    First Semester:
    Bus service will begin on Wednesday, August 14. No classes for MBA and no bus service on the following days during the first semester:
    • September 2 for Labor Day
    • October 17 and 18 for Fall Break
    • November 27, 28, and 29 for Thanksgiving Break
    The last day of exams and bus service for the first semester is Friday, December 20.
       
    Second Semester:
    Bus service will begin on Tuesday, January 7. No classes for MBA and no bus service on the following days during the second semester:
    • January 20 for MLK Holiday
    • February 14 and 17 for Presidents’ Day Weekend
    • March 7 through March 16 for Spring Break; service resumes March 17
    • April 18 for Spring Holiday
    The last day of exams and bus service for the second semester is Friday, May 23.
