In July 2025, MBA faculty will lead a tour of England and Scotland, exploring the landscape, history, and culture of the British Isles. Sites visited include: London, Canterbury, Windsor, Salisbury, Stonehenge, Bath, Edinburgh, and St. Andrews. The Treasures of Britain Trip is a competitive Wilson Grant
available only for rising Juniors.

Description:
With destinations ranging from the prehistoric standing stones of Stonehenge (3100 B.C.) to the Shard (2012 A.D.) and other landmarks of London’s twenty-first century skyline, this Wilson Trip will offer participating students the unique opportunity to gain a thorough understanding of the full chronological sweep of British History.
In addition, participants in the Wilson Treasures of Britain Trip will have the chance to study in person and on site the distinctive architectural and cultural significance of various royal palaces, private residences, castles, cathedrals, churches, public buildings, and monuments.
The Treasures of Britain Trip is a competitive Wilson Grant available only for rising Juniors.
Places on the trip will be awarded to those students whose applications best demonstrate intellectual curiosity and an ambition to learn more about the landscape, history, and culture of Britain. Prior to our departure from the U.S., each student participating in the Treasures of Britain Trip will be expected to complete several assigned readings. In addition, each group member will be assigned a topic for presentation at one of the sites visited. Upon completion of the trip, each student will be required to compose a brief evaluation of his experience.
PLEASE NOTE: All applicants must be able to travel as a part of our group on the dates of travel listed above. No changes to trip dates or alternative travel arrangements are permitted. Do not complete this application if you are not able to travel with the group on these dates. Any student who is awarded a grant but who cannot travel with the group on the dates listed above will forfeit his grant.

ELIGIBILITY
- Student must be a rising Junior.
- Student must be in good academic standing.
- Student must have an exemplary disciplinary record.
- Student must provide an outstanding recommendation from his current English II or English II Honors teacher.
- Student must provide an outstanding recommendation from his current History teacher.
