Student Featured On WPLN's “This is Nashville” Radio Program

On Tuesday, April 16th, MBA eighth-grader Nick Held was invited to the WPLN (the NPR affiliate in Nashville) radio studio to be interviewed on the Student Reporter Roundup episode of the “This is Nashville” show, regarding his experience as a student journalist and as current Editor-In-Chief of Top of the Hill, MBA's junior school student newspaper.

     

"This is Nashville" is a live, one-hour radio program that airs four times a week at lunch time (and is re-aired in the evening). WPLN assembled a panel of young journalists, ranging from junior school to college, to be interviewed for the program. Nick Held, the youngest participant selected, was interviewed by WPLN's LaTonya Turner in the first twenty minute segment of the show.
