Big Red wins Border War 3x10 over Shelby County in Postal Competition

This week the Big Red Rifles shot a postal match against Border War rival Shelby County HS and Floyd Central HS to produce an excellent 3x10 score of 1151 behind the outstanding shooting of team captain Nathan Sharp to top the Rocket's 1128 and Floyd Central's 1122. The Red Rifles will retain the Border War Pig Trophy for 2014-15.
Team leader Nathan Sharp turned in a sizzling 294 followed followed by Shelby's Sidney Porter's 292 and Floyd Central's Oliva Appel's 289. MBA's Josh Cheng was 4th with a 288 and Ben Wassynger 5th with a 287.
The team will be back in action next Wed in a 3x20 postal match against St Louis University HS.
Our new pistol squad lead by senior Billy Lynch will make's it's debut on 15 November at the CMP monthly match in Anniston, AL.
