Cardinal cruises past Pope Prep

Kicking off the new season under our new moniker the Cardinal boys traveled north to take on Pope Prep. Whether it was the temperature more fit for football than baseball, first game jitters, or tight muscles having to endure an hour in Nashville traffic with just minutes to warm-up, some rust had to be knocked in the first innings. 

However, following some steady pitching from Turner Rutledge and Lucas Kim, the bats came alive in a resounding 10-run third (and final) inning. Final score 15-1 Cardinal.
