MBA crowns 3 State Champions

The state tournament took place at MBA on Friday and Saturday. The tournament is a big undertaking, and people like Ed Tarkington (who acted as the tournament director), Dustin Hedmark, and Frank Simpson (who took care of many of the details and planning) made it a huge success. The MBA wrestlers came away with some great results. Of the 14 boys who qualified, 10 of them placed in the top 6 in their weight class. For the first time in program history, we had 3 champions. MBA finished 3rd overall.

These guys, and the entire team, have sacrificed a lot. All of us coaches have been proud to work with this group of boys. Up next, we'll have 4-6 guys (depending on wildcard selections) competing in the National Prep tournament this Friday and Saturday.
