Team Cardinal Claims Fifth Straight Field Day Crown

It was a day of back and forth battle between boys of all ages on The Hill, but in the end, the result was the same as it's been in recent years: Cardinal claimed a fifth straight Field Day title over Silver.

The two teams came down to the wire, and it was tightly contested from the start. On the dodgeball court, a third-game win in the best-of-three series gave Cardinal an early advantage. However, when the two sides reconvened after the students were split by grade and participated in their individual activities (Ultimate Frisbee, Basketball, Kickball/Erg Machine/Long Drive, Soccer, Capture the Flag, and Football/Pull Ups), it was Silver that had the lead.

With the help of a fast leg from David Mapangala ('28) in the 6x200 meter relay and the strength of upperclassmen like Maxwell Beauchamp ('26), Brennus Cotton ('26) Dylan Drake ('25), and Cole Sieveking ('25) in the tug of war, Cardinal came out ultimately victorious.

A special thanks to faculty sponsor Parrish Gaines and the student council representatives from each class that made the day possible. It was quite the way to come back to school after Spring Break!
