Senior Elias Franks Claims Prestigious Admiral William P. Lawrence Award

On Sunday, February 23, MBA senior Elias Franks was named the recipient of the 2025 Admiral William P. Lawrence Award from the Middle Tennessee Chapter of the National Football Foundation. This prestigious award recognizes the top high school football scholar-athlete in Middle Tennessee. In addition to football, Elias is a key member of the MBA wrestling and lacrosse teams. In the classroom, he has maintained straight-A’s throughout high school while taking 19 Honors and AP courses.
     
MBA has more recipients of this award than any other school, with Elias being the 11th MBA football player since 1968 to claim this honor. Listed below are all of MBA's recipients of the Admiral William P. Lawrence Award:
