Big Red Falls in Overtime

The JV basketball team lost 55-53 in overtime to CPA on the road Tuesday night. A sluggish start saw the team get down by 18 in the first half, but in the second half the team clawed back and led by three in the final seconds. Unfortunately, CPA was able to bank in a three at the buzzer to send the game to overtime, and in the extra frame the Big Red couldn't make enough plays to win.

Seth Taber led the way with 13 points. Wyatt Stimart added 10, and Caleb LeMarbre played well, scoring 7. The Big Red is back in action in a road game against Ensworth on Thursday at 4.
