Varsity basketball fell 47-46 last night to Chattanooga Prep in the finals of the Cleveland Holiday Tournament. They are the defending (and likely to repeat) DI-Class A State Champions. We never truly adjusted to their athleticism and the physicality of the game offensively, though we did do a good job defending and kept fighting when we got down by 10 late in the 3rd. Tied 20-20 at the half, we played the second half without Kevin Die' who suffered a sprained ankle. O'Neal (18), Rzasnicki (9), and Black (8) led the scoring. While a disappointing loss, it was a game and competition that will make us better as we move forward into league play. Roll Red!
