Tuition includes required items such as lunch, activity fees, lab fees, student publications, fitness pack, and student admission to on-campus plays/musicals and athletics (excluding playoff games). Items such as books, class trips, and extracurricular/ athletic travel are additional expenses not included in tuition.
Montgomery Bell Academy offers need-based financial aid, of which approximately 20% of the student body receives. No family should assume that an MBA education is out of reach solely for financial reasons. We strongly encourage you to complete the financial aid application process to determine your need. Admission decisions are made separately of a family's financial aid application.
Our financial aid (FA) is designed to make an MBA education possible for all families, based on demonstrated financial need and the availability of funds. MBA uses the Clarity Application to determine a family’s level of financial need based on the information that families share in the application, which includes assets, income, expenses, and debts.
To get started, please go to the Clarity Application and create an account. The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete and is also mobile-friendly, so you can complete it from anywhere. You are also able to save your progress and return at any time. At the end of the application there is a $60 fee to submit, and you can share your application with additional schools using Clarity.
Please remember to return to your dashboard after you complete and submit your application, as MBA requires you to upload additional tax documentation.
