College Counseling

MBA's office of College Counseling assists all High School families, preparing students for admission to and successful performance in colleges and universities across the United States and throughout the world.

Beginning with a preview of the College Counseling process for freshmen and their parents, MBA offers a comprehensive college planning sequence of academic-day programs and evening talks and workshops - to inform the community and to help students assess interests, identify appropriate colleges and universities, research options, apply effectively, and prepare to make the transition to college life.

The Director of College Counseling and Associate Directors meet individually with sophomores, juniors, seniors, and parents to answer questions, offer suggestions, and tailor each college search to individual needs and circumstances.

Students draw on resources including frequent visits by college representatives, free online access to standardized test preparation, online resources including the college planning and application platform Scoir, and most importantly, the support of College Counselors who combine decades of experience working in colleges and independent schools.
