Big Red falls late in Semis

The Varsity Basketball season came to an end today with a tough 44-42 loss to Briarcrest in the State Semifinals.  The boys battled very hard, played good defense and gave us a chance, we just ultimately didn't make enough open shots.  Scoring today:  Die'(14), Weatherford(12), O'Neal(7), Rzasnicki(3), Chapman(3), Taft(3).

 

As the disappointment wears off, they will find themselves very proud of a great season.  We finished 24-7, beat every team in the Region, and played only one opponent all year that had a sub .500 record.  Lots to celebrate collectively and individually at the banquet in a few weeks.  Until next year.....Roll Red!
