Big Red Pull Away from Lipscomb

The JV basketball team defeated Lipscomb 54-39 on Tuesday night. The Big Red played well in the first half but struggled to generate points, but thanks to some good defense went into the break up six. Lipscomb was able to retake the lead in the third, but the Big Red blew the game open with a huge run spanning the end of the third and the beginning of the fourth fueled by a flurry of points and steals by Loni Pughsley. The lead eventually ballooned to twenty with 10 of the 11 players scoring.
