The boys looked primed to perform and came out of the gates with quality spacing, smooth passing, and several creative combinations.  Team goals flooded in and the Reds jumped out to a lead that expanded to 5-0 by half.  However, the highlight was a fine set piece that curved around and over the Valor wall and past a diving goalkeeper by Briggs Waddey in the second half.

 

Thomas Roper, Sebastian Muller, and Ahmad Abuali were metronomic in possession in midfield, while Hudson McCarter stood out defensively - interrupting several counter attack attempts by Valor attackers.  Ultimately, Nathaniel Coreno and Jameson Nelson added a second shutout in goal, capping the first quarter of the season in style.  

 

The boys don't return to action until next Tuesday at BGA.
