MBA’s 23rd annual Cellophony, a student-run concert benefiting Nashville’s W.O. Smith Music School, was a spectacular success! This year’s event, which was spearheaded by Brady Bauer (‘25) and Michael Dattilo (‘25), raised an impressive $4,500 to support quality music education for children, helping inspire and empower the next generation of musicians.
Originally founded in 2003 by Hamilton Berry as a two-cello rock and pop showcase, the event has since evolved into a dynamic, multi-genre production featuring a diverse array of instruments, vocalists, and a dedicated technical crew handling staging, lighting and audio.
From flute and drum solos to duets, this year’s student performers delivered captivating performances, showcasing their incredible talent. Featured bands included MBA’s own Kibby and the Biscuits, the all-star Cellophony House Band, as well as other student bands from MBA and Harpeth Hall.
Cellophony once again proved to be a night to remember! Watch the recap below...
