Envirothon Team Wins Third Consecutive State Title
The MBA Envirothon team of seniors Emmett Adams, Nate Holder, Luke Keller, Michael Kong, and Whit Uden captured their third consecutive Envirothon State Championship. This year's competition took place May 7-8 at the Clyde York 4-H Center in Crossville, Tennessee. In keeping with the 2024 current issue topic, "Renewable Energy for a Sustainable Future," the students designed a 10-year plan for a school district with 15 schools to reduce fossil fuel consumption by 75%. The team will now represent Tennessee at the North American competition this summer at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, New York.
